L'uomo che sconfisse il boogie narra la storia di Secondo Casadei, l'inventore della musica folkloristica romagnola, tra gli anni Venti ed il 1971, anno della sua scomparsa. Un viaggio tra i luoghi della musica e della vita raccontato non solo attraverso la famiglia ma soprattutto tramite le voci dei musicisti/orchestrali e dei ballerini. Documenti d'epoca in bianco e nero arricchiscono l'opera con preziosissime testimonianze ed interviste del maestro.

L’uomo che sconfisse il boogie tells the story of Secondo Casadei, the inventor of folk music in Romagna, between the 20’s and 1971, the year of his death. A voyage to the places of his music and his life, told not only through his family but also through the voices of colleagues, musicians, and dancers. Archival footage and interviews enrich the film by bringing back the Maestro himself.
