Dear friends,
The Festival of Palazzo Venezia in Rome, International review of films and documentaries on art, is increasing it’s own asset program and communication.
These are briefly the new purchases:

1. Arnaldo Pomodoro, one of the most rapresentative artists on the international scene, will be the President of the Jury. Moreover he has created for the Festival a bronze sculpture, which will be the award for the best film. The name of the award, inspired by the Master’s composition, is “The golden curl”.

2. The President of the Italian republic, Carlo Azeglio Ciampi, has destinied a plate that will be the award for the best film on Italian Art.
This rapresents for us a great motive of satisfaction, because the cultural validity of our initiative is recognized by the most eminent authority of the State.

3. Maurizio Calvesi, eminent historian and art critic, will also be part of the Jury.

4. The inauguration evening of the Festival will take place in the room Settecento of the new Auditorium della Musica di Roma, designed by Renzo Piano, on the 25th of May.

5. From the 5th of June the Festival of Palazzo Venezia will move to Florence, in the beautiful Accademia delle Bellle Arti in Piazza San Marco, where for one week, until the 12th of June, the Festival will be in part re-proposed and will be enriched by new documentaristic proposals relative to the city of Florence.
This is another occasion to give the possibility to a wider public to get to know and appriciate our films.
